Knight School of Communication (Queens University)

Surprised that Queens and Knights go together? And if you know anything about the Knight Foundation, you won’t be surprised to know that they have initiated a tremendous push to help communities strengthen and enhance citizens’ digital and media literacy skills. Queens University is an epicenter and leader of those efforts. We worked closely with its Knight School of Communication to build digitalcharlotte.org to help citizens and community partners navigate the world of social media, mobile devices, digital safety and other topics and skills crucial for succeeding in 21st century communication.
